A Family Dedicated to Fitness
The Sweat Box originally opened in 2020 as a gym space dedicated to strength training and conditioning for our local running community. Since then, we have developed and grown into a fitness facility that provides a welcoming space to all fitness levels. We are a family run business with a passion for healthy living and helping others achieve their goals so whatever they may be, we can get you there! Hike that first mountain, run that first race, or make those gains; your active lifestyle starts and grows here.


Bailey Haugan
Bailey spent her younger years as a competitive swimmer, World Championship level Irish dancer, and talented ultra runner. One of her biggest accomplishments was completing the 125 km Canadian Death Race Ultramarathon at the age of 16, making her the youngest soloist to finish the race. In May of 2020, Bailey graduated from the Exercise & Wellness Program at Camosun College. She looks forward to using her knowledge and experience to help others reach their fitness goals.
Nicki Haugan
Nicki grew up playing many different sports, but turned to ultra running after having her 3 kids. She quickly became an elite level ultra runner, but stepped away to help her children pursue their own athletic endeavours. Nicki got her personal training certification in 2015 to pursue her passion for helping others achieve their athletic & fitness goals. She really enjoys working with the younger generations, and believes strongly in the need for everybody to learn the importance of living a healthy & active lifestyle.
